Practicing Teaching in the Class
On February 5th, 2018
was the first day I started teaching in the class 12b. And just at 1:00 p.m, I came
to school, and entered the Faculty Office and then I noticed that Ma'am Claire's
was at the Faculty Office. Then Ma'am Claire asked me. Fen's whether you will
practice teaching at 1 pm in the class 12B, and I replied, "yes ma'am, right
Ma'am" and how you feel now, "a little scared Ma'am, I replied.
And then Sir Sonny
invited me to go to class, and when I got to class. All students get ready. And
my feelings are getting more and more nervous. And it turns out, not
surprisingly Ma'am Bless also already in the classroom. And finally . I taught
with nervous.
Sir Sonny always gives
me the spirit, so I do not feel afraid when teaching in the class. And finally,
I started learning. I explained the lesson, and I just stood in one place.
Because I still feel nervous at the attention by 3 smart people from the campus
TAU Philippines.
And I explained the
material included video. Ma'am Claire, Ma'am Bless and Mentor (sir Sonny) watched
me teach in class. Until the time the material is finished explained. And I am
over 45 minutes. And I was asked to give a question to the students, and none
of the students asked about the marketing mix. And then I show the task that
will be done by the students for the next meeting. And this task is still done
in groups by students. And the group is still the same as the group meet
yesterday.
After that, the class
was again conditioned by Sir Sonny. And I sat behind listening to the criticism
and suggestions that built me in the future. Ma'am Bless gave me a suggestion
that I was not explaining video with an example. And I also do not go around in
class to deliver material. Because I just stand on one side only.
I am very grateful to
be given suggestions and responses by Ma'am Bless and Ma'am Claire, hopefully in
the future I can better master the class, and more able to master the material.
After the lesson ended, I and Sir Sonny closed the lesson, and we returned to the
Faculty Office.
And in the faculty
office I and Miss.Evi communicate for a moment. And at 3:00 p.m, Sir Sonny has another
class with Miss.Evi. And then I go back to the hostel.
This is my Lesson Plan when the first time I teach in the class.

curiculum of Basic Education, and Senior

College of Business and Management of TAU. Every subject has one

in my country. But but in my country many reference books are used. and books
for students can also be equated with books used by teachers, so that the
material in the taught more connect. But, My Mentor said that he usually add
other materials from internet. same as my country, we are also looking for
additional reference from the internet.

about the material, the teacher will give some tips and tricks. Sometime the teacher
use expository method and cooperative method. Teacher divide the student become

At the introduction stage, the teacher explains and
discusses the previous lesson. In the main activities, the teacher explains the
material. Sometimes teachers also give assignments to students, in the form of

material that has been learned in the previous day, so that students can understand
and remember the previous material
In clossing, teacher give some question and students
answer the question to check whether students understood about the material.
Teacher guides students to make conclusion and tell about material for next
